That would be awesome 2190(extra days)

Edit: all this quad talk has me really wanting one, it has been quite a while. I have a Sacre Coeur from April 2016 and a Quarter Sawn from Sept 2016 at home still, maybe time to crack one open for the Yankees game tonight and see how they have changed!

I'm over and done with arguing about something that really has no bearing on my day to day life, but I will just say passing along information and making a broad assumption on something that isn't factual are two completely different things... at least the last time I checked?

No Kane announcement, yet for anniversary. Beginning to wonder if it's even going to happen given the parking concerns

I'd have to believe they will at least release the quad bottle, perhaps it will just be that this year until they have some time to come up with some type of possible fix to the parking issues

yeah that tap list has been pretty hype since last weekend. I am going to try to stop in Sun since I have nothing going on

@fdonnelly I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on the Quarter Sawn. Opened a bottle a few months back and thought it changed quite a bit. I wrote a post about it awhile back as well. I think the bugs from the red wine barrels are working on it and giving a whole new profile. Mine had a nice little funk and tartness to it. I'm thinking it was heading toward a Flanders brown or Oud Bruin. I've got two more bottles and will probably open another soon to see how it has progressed. Still have some Sacre Coeur as well.

Ended up not cracking beer last night because I was running around and then just generally pissed the Yankees couldn't do anything haha.

I have 1 Sacre Coeur, I really loved it when I first opened it last fall so I am excited for that soon. Quarter Sawn I think I have 2 left as well, one in my fridge and 1 in my cellar. I will open one this weekend maybe and report back!

I have a random question/observation to make... does anyone else get frustrated by the pricing of 4 pack pint cans now? I love Kane and its one of my favorite breweries but i find myself sitting out of releases just due to some of the pricing. I feel its gotten a little egregious here in this region with pricing.

Kane's $14 pint cans for HH (although a very good IPA, was reasonable when it was $12), $16 for IIPA (again great IIPA but $16!), and $18 for any sort of special release IPA that isn't put out on a regular schedule. Then you look at tired hands and like $24 4 packs (which I've never bought), its just getting crazy. I also feel like the trend now is to just have special one off beers to be able to charge a premium to the end consumer for when there's hype/scarcity and something not available regularly. Which is just annoying... pricing should be the same as IPA/IIPA as I'm sure it doesn't cost much more to make... and there's plenty of margin there anyway.

I just think of pricing and compare me buying 4 4 packs today for $60 at Kane and then I think of how Alchemist charges $11.50 a 4 pack for everything they make. Again I love Kane in particular but just feel like pricing is getting a little crazy around NJ/NY/PA. Yea I know you can also point ot other crazy shit liek treehouse and Trillium priicng but still...There's''s a ton of great beer out there available without waiting in any lines at a cheaper cost and I wonder where the breaking point is. End of rant...

It's in line with other similar beers.
It's actually cheaper and better than alot of other breweries.
You have a point. This thread is just a bad example

Yea I was just there today (their tap list was great) and they in particular came to mind especially the pricing of their one off IPAs, which is why I posted it here. While I agree with you on the better part, I don;t really agree with you on the cheaper front at all... Carton (though I;m not a huge fan) is lower in price at canals, I also really like Spellbounds IPA at $9.99 a sixer, dirt wolf from Victory is quite good and much cheaper for a sixer now. Not going to argue that i'd prefer HH or OH but at some point the cost comes into it....

I agree Kane is awesome, but at some point I'm just wondering when local places that make great beer price out a lot of the market and people just say fuck it, i'm just going to buy xyz's great beer at $10-12 a sixer instead. Again its all great beer.

don't compare beer prices in nj with those in vt.. our population density and cost to run are business are such extreme opposites it's redeiculous

now if kane was charging TiredCan prices you'd have a pretty valid gripe but nobody bitches about Kane prices bc there is nothing to bitch about..... gtfo with that shit

Kane gave away a boat load of a renowned porter last month for free. If anything people are probably asking the Alstrom brothers to add an unlike button right now.

Kane prices have gone up a bit, but I am fine with that, especially since every time I walk in there I see new equipment and its obvious where the money is going. Tired Hands/OH prices are too much, every week you are talking $20 4 packs if not more. I think the most expensive can Kane has had was Third Reef which is understandable as the amount of hops in that is crazy.

I was more "upset" about Kane's flight prices than the cans, to be honest. I guess it's par for the course. I'd sooner have a gripe about Magnify prices in comparison to Alchemist, to be honest.
