Kane Brewing (September 2016)

It's the anniversary, they do a bottle every year. The announcement late last night probably added a few people to the line but I'm not sure anything would have helped today unless they made it a ticketed event.

 

I realize it's the anniversary and do a bottle (I live 5 mins away) but they still could have done it a bit different to avoid 90+ people lining up 3 hours prior to opening. They've done everything to avoid that over the last 6 months and have been successful

 

And it is pouring rain down here too..

Good luck to all those waiting in line, hoping Kane brings out some doughnuts from DOCO for you guys

 

Speaking for myself, I wasn't planning to come until I saw the announcement last night. BA stouts from Kane will do that.

 

100 miles away. I debated setting an alarm to get there nice and early , didn't want to wait in line, now I'm sitting here reading the updates thinking I should've , keep those updates coming fellas.

 

All I wanted was to pick up a 4 pack of Head High before going to a wedding today

Pretty sure you can still get in the regular area for those cans without waiting more than a few minutes. The bottle line is separate.

I think the problem might be parking and then getting through the sea of people inside. In situations like that, my slight agoraphobia flares up.

 

Line is fuckin nuts

 

With the vague description, people are hoping it's a Brunch heavy blend. Thus, the FOMO and people willing to wait four or five hours. But it could well be a Silent Nights heavy blend in which case it will still be a good blended brew but will lead to some disappointment after tasting and the waiting.

More importantly, people who are not close to Kane and coming just for the birthday party should do themselves a solid and purchase Quarter Sawn if it's available. It's the best beer Kane has released in a bottle.

Now that the brewery is open how are the lines for regular pours?

 

Any idea if Kane will be brewing Fall Saints this year?

 

No way this line is 4 hours. Everyone is way overreacting. Moving much faster than an other half line and for collaborations the line is much longer. I've moved way more than I expected in 20 minutes
