Are you guys really convinced that Kane's releases are heavily botted?

I have been in favor of a membership for a couple of years. Of course that was always premised on me having a membership.

While I understand some people will be shut out, there will be a lot less people trying to buy a membership than there were trying to buy Mexican Brunch from 12:00:00 to 12:00:10. Almost anyone into beer would be wiling to drop $80.00. The number that will drop $500+ or so is a lot less than that.

If there is serious consideration to a membership program, I suggest that you look at the way the Bruery runs it. For all the bitching people do on threads, it really does work out pretty well.

Thanks for listening to us Glenn.

Yes. I think anything sold like this that can be quickly flipped for a profit is botted.

I am. Anything being sold on-line that people can flip for profit is being heavily botted. Read an article last week about the nintendo mini snes pre-orders going so quickly cause of bots as well, along with any in-demand ticket.

smh, I've already given 2 away to a coworker and a friend who got shut out and I'll likely give one to my cousin as well. Beer is for sharing not selling!

The Springsteen The River Tour had multiple nights at Prudential and Barclays (and maybe MSG) All of the tickets were gone within a minute. The Bot programs grab them all and then they go through and see which tickets they want to keep.

Bot's can be used and programmed for anything.

high demand sneakers sell out in seconds and resold for 4x retail

there was a great article i read on a company that did this. apparently they were sued, but won because they had humans entering the captchas. Apparently if they had bots enter the captcha - they would have lost and been sued for a ton of money.
