The issue was not the customers. The issue was having one person do all the checkouts, with one hard copy binder. For a portion of the time I was waiting they had a guy with the "rye" binder, but no clear direction that people should form to lines. For an operation of Kane's size, it was primitive and inefficient. First, split the alphabet. Second, the tickets are bar-coded, and it is 2018. Why are we using highlighters and pens. Third, get more staff. I'm a huge Kane fanboy but the deficiencies were glaring. I understand a place like Troon where the guy is just getting started and has a small operation, but even there they have two registers and three people, so it moves pretty quick.

The tasting room was understaffed Sunday as well.

Like other have said, the draft list was killed Saturday evening. I came at 6 and there were 4 or 5 empty spots on the board. I really wanted to try Blue Hotel and Vanilla Morning Bell, but it's not surprising that so many kegs were kicked with the volume of people there that day.

Raspberry Cloud Cover and Drift Line were both really good. Galaxy Punch was just a whole lot of guava and not in a good way.

Draft line was insane on Saturday afternoon, should have gone in first and tried some stuff before grabbing my ANTEAD.

Did get growlers of Rasp CC and Galaxy Punch. Rasp CC was pretty good but Galaxy Punch was really really overpowering on the guava. Not undrinkable but a little harsh for my tastes.

Welp. That's what I get for not checking the forums/kane instagram page for about a week and a half. Another year passed, another missed ANTEAD. Someday I'll get to try some =\

EDIT: I just got back from a trip up to Suarez brewing over the weekend. Any idea if a couple bottles of Suarez for 1 antead would be a fair trade or am I wayyyyyy off? (sorry I really don't trade that much and have zero clue as to "market value" and all that BS)

I'd imagine if you got one of the vintage bottles some people might be interested. Suarez is fantastic.

nothing, won't know until they post about a presale (most likely) since they are more sought after beers from them. Or a silent drop if they go that route. Mexican for sure will be presale it was last year. BA MB not sure, reg MB was not

I've picked up bottles before at kane via presale and it seemed faster in the past for whatever reason. I went Sunday figuring everyone would go Saturday because of football. I was wrong

One thing I hate about kane everyone uses the growler station in the back and not the one you pass into the taproom.

it's been a while since i filled a growler - but I thought that the 2 stations were not 1 to 1, as in the merch section not having all the available growler fillable beers?

You're right the merch stand station not having everything. I always get stuck behind someone getting a growler of sneak box or something.
