What have you been offering up? I gotta believe they are scarce. Limited supply might be shifting value up a bit, which could be hurting your chances.

there were certainly more than 200 bottles of Fifth... fwiw... doubt more than 800 ish but certainly more than 200... think DB ANTEAD was only bottle done with a count as low as 200/250 range

Fairly certain cognac 1095 had about the same bottle count as DB ANTEAD. Cant imagine the value would be as high as that though.

I've got one, but its the only one I have sorry. Any one who has vintages and wants to get read of them let me know.

Also that was thankfully an easy purchase

I recall someone saying that day it was either 200 or 400, it was pretty small.

Very Easy. I think people are sleeping on this. The anniversary ales are great. And being able to get a set on 1 and 1 addressed people's complaints last year that you had to buy 4 or 5.

Ordered my sets! Excited to come down to Kane from NYC for the time since moving here a couple of years ago. I wanna get there around open (hoping to catch the ferry back to the city after hitting Carton) - is there a reason (other than idiots like me existing) that there'd be a long line, given that this was an online sale?

I saw the Cognac 1092 in a 4 bottle set on a website that sells secondary. Kane ANTEAD 2014, Kane 1095 (Cognac Barrel), Kane 1460, Kane 1825 for $500.00
I am not endorsing doing this, just simply sharing some info I stumbled across

There tends to be a line at opening on these releases. As to why, you answered your own question. If you are taking the ferry over, I would suggest starting your day at Carton and let the lines die out. Go over later and enjoy a couple of pours, pick up your Overhead, Head High and Sneakbox cans and then get your bottles with no line.

DB Antead has such a high value, and you rarely see it out there. I wonder if those who got them even have drank theirs

I scored one on release day.. I sat on it for over 2 years and then I was offered $400 for it. I just couldn't refuse. Disappointed that I never tasted it, but $400 is $400 lol

I had mine about 2 weeks after it was released. It was wonderful. The beer in that bottle was well over 2 years old when they released it, I couldn't see what more aging would do better for it. Plus it was only one, so I wouldn't be able to compare back to memories of it anyway.

drank mine with my brother past christmas. it was so amazingly smooth, the red wine barrel is probably my favorite "variant" of antead.

Missed out on the ANTEAD presale because i forgot about it until 12:15, kicked myself since i lost all the previous lotteries. Ill take an easy purchase of 2555 and 2557 as a decent consolation prize

110%, I would take a 3rd set if there are left overs prob. I like the Quad, ill prob want to send my friend one too so having a 3rd for my set is ideal! plus if the blended stout is as good as the last few an additional of that wouldn't be a bad thing
