Wish they did individual bottles. Love Brunch but with all these releases going on I dont need 3 bottles of anything. Ive got too much shit as it is

I get sets where there are variants. But what is a “set” of the same beer? Sorry not overly familiar with Kane’s process so maybe this is just “the way”

In this case the "set" is 3 bottles and you can get up to 2 sets. So you can get 3 bottles or 6 bottles.

Sorry I get the mechanics - just wondering what the logic was. If there was a BA variant and a coconut variant - then I get the logic of selling as a set. But why sell three bottles of the same beer as a "set" vs selling single bottles with a limit of three (or six since they're allowing two sets)? Or alternatively call it a three pack....

Why do you have a gripe with it being called a set of 3 bottles but you would be fine if it were called a three pack? Theyve been doing it this way for the pre-sales. Mexican Brunch presale was 1 set of 5 bottles so take this as a victory. As to why they do this, probably to speed up bottle pickups by pre-packing 3 bottles per bag rather than having to customize every order on thousands of bottles.

No gripe. Just curious. The three pack thing was a joke.

probably logistics. These pick ups go SLOW AF when there are options (see ANTEAD with 2 options)

Doing single bottle sales where people would be buying 1-6 bottles would take for-ev-er to get through, since they usually have 2 POS for these pick ups and they're cross referencing IDs - and using pencil/paper to check off purchases. It's a really archaic system tbh.

of course the argument would be "don't do ticket sales, do a normal release with 5+ POS"

but Mexican/Sunday Brunch bottles bring a CROWD - like last year people were lining up every Saturday for about 3-6 weeks waiting for this to be release because it was "released this time last year." Where Kane is located - it's tough to get parking once the lot fills up, and it would create a lot of issues with their neighbors if they went back to selling MB/SB like regular releases.

My guess regarding 3 bottle sets is that there's possibly a flat transaction fee charged by Eventbrite (to the seller). In which case capping the number of transactions makes sense. As would making sure each transaction has enough cushion/profit built in to make the flat fee worth it.

That said, Eventbrite is just so clunky. The fact that you can't add or edit your payment option until you're actively engaged in a transaction is absolutely not ideal when dealing with tickets or anything that sells out fast.

Is it possible the cost jumps so much bc of fees eventbrite charges Kane to use the site?
