The new batch of Morning Bell was released at the brewery today - 6 bottle limit.

It is excellent - stronger coffee flavor than the last version.

Got six today, five for friends and one for myself, might do a side by side with the original release.

Is this brewery only or distribution too? When would distribution start?

As stated ^ much more stronger coffee forward than previous batch. I have up to 3 available if anyone is looking for any.

Anyone have any idea how much was left? Will it make it through this weekend?

Their FB post claimed they should have enough to last a few weeks.

I wouldn't wait too long though. They were flying through it Saturday afternoon

To be honest I'm not sure there were any left after Saturday I went when they opened and a buddy of mine went towards closing and he was pretty sure they sold out but not 100% sure.

I went in the middle of the day and it didn't seem too busy. 300+ people would have had to buy full allotments...

350 people would have to max out at 6pp for them to have sold out. In 5 hours

I arrived on Saturday around 12:30 p.m. and the bottle line was fairly quiet. When I left around 2:00 p.m., there was a decent line and it appeared that almost everyone was buying a full allotment. Even so, I would be very surprised if there isn't a good amount left.

I was there at closing, line was empty, was able to get my full allotment and there seemed to be plenty left

I left at closing, and it seems like next weekend should kill the rest of it off

Was the last bottled batch $12 per? I seem to recall is being $10.

That said, they tend to regularly have MB on tap and available for fills over the past 2 years. It's nice to have it in bottles, but I don't see a crazy demand like they have for ANTEAD. In fact, most of their bottlings other than ANTEAD have been available for a few weeks at least. Also $12 seems to be quite high of a price per ounce because MB I think fills at $18/growler.

Two weeks ago I had an MB form the first bottling. It held up well but the coffee faded from when it was fresh.

Yes it was $12 a bottle. Its really not that high. I found $12 a bargain considering what other breweries are charging for their similar beers. This included tax as well.

I dont see these lasting that long. Malus isnt a huge draw and lasted for weeks because belgian darks arent there yet for most people. A coffee porter will fly.

I love this beer, but probably won't make it down to get any before it sells out, so if any NYC people end up down there and get some, let me know if we can work something out. I'm going to Boston next weekend and can return the favor with Trillium/Night Shift.
