kane released their first anniversary beer, three hundred sixty five, on wednesday in nj. very limited release. 70% belgian style dark ale, 30% bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout.

stumbled upon them and picked a few up.

had it on tap at a tap takeover at the stirling hotel a few months back. wasn't too crazy about it. needless to say, I did buy a bottle the other day. I'd buy water from them if they started bottling it.

Boom 2 of those 47 stores are mine. Just about blew through a case at Hoboken Vine so far. Delicious beer. Had it on tap at barcade a month or so ago at their kane event. prob gonna have some at the brewery today too.

curious why this was moved from the beer releases section when it's about a beer release...

I don't care that it was; just want to understand where things belong.

Probably bc Kane doesn't leave the region. I dont think it got much response in beer news anyway so its better off.

I am surely one of the biggest Kane fanboys out there but this one just didn't do it for me. I reviewed it over there and it was my lowest rated Kane beer to date.

With that being said I love what Michael has going on at the brewery lately. He's taking advantage of the recently signed bill by Christie and now sells samples and actual full 12oz pours of his beers. Today in addition to the usual suspects, Head High...Single Fin etc., there was a cask of dry hopped Over Head, BA Head High, an aged Port Omna and Malus on tap.

If you have never been to the brewery I highly reccommend it.

I really like the brewery it's been awhile since I've been there. I hope they do more of the barrel aged drift line, aka driftwood. Without a doubt one of the best beers they had at the Barcade event.

$14 is a solid price. I wish Malus was sold at that range.

Malus was $12 at the brewery and lots of stores in the area are selling it at $13.99 or less.
