Ah, that's too bad. I'll probably have to skip this one.

I am a huge fan of Kane but am I the only one wondering when we are going to see Head High or Overhead or some of the other fantastic beers Kane puts out in bottles? I've had and seen mixed reviews on the 365 and the Malus but everyone who has tried Head High loves it. Why is this beer not bottled? Just don't understand why the brewery is putting their bottling resources into beers getting mixed reviews when they could bottle their proven winners and make us all happy (as well as making $$$$$$$$).

I doubt they could even come close to meeting demand if they started to bottle head high. Starting slow with limited release bottles seems to make a lot of sense to me.

I agree that it could be a problem meeting demand. But are you saying that from a business perspective they are better off with Malus bottles sitting on the shelves collecting dust, rather than having bottles of Head High flying off the shelves? Not sure i understand that.

I dk dude. Is malus collecting dust in places? I don't pretend to know why they do what they do, but I doubt they want to get in over their heads releasing HH yet in bottles. I mean they've only done two bottle releases and the second of which gave I think like 30 something stores 2 cases each. They'd have to contract it out if they tried to bottle HH. Theyre still young. Give them some time.

I agree with this. Also hopefully when/if they bottle head high we get sixers, I'd hate if they put it in bombers. Of course I'd still buy it once in awhile but it would be perma-stocked in my fridge if it was in 6ers.

Funny sign, but good advice. I opened one the other night and the cork shot out by itself as soon as the cage was off.

you're not kidding. I didn't even get the cage off before it started to come out. I had to hold it down in order for it not to shoot off.

as far as the beer...it is a good version of a quad. didn't get even a hint of the bourbon barrels, though (until the next morning, when I tasted the bit that was left in the bottle). overcarbonated too (obviously). it is good, just not what I was expecting. the best sip I had was actually that one the morning after. I'm letting the other bottles age and would consider opening them and leaving them in the beer fridge overnight.
