    BTW, is Crane Brewery under new ownership?

    I also saw Apex Aleworks (closed) is getting a face lift. Rumor is Fringe Beer Works is opening in that spot, but I do not know if that will serve as their second location or if they'll be moving from their downtown Lee's Summit spot.

    Care to expand on what you mean regarding Torn Label? I was visiting so I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

    Last week Torn Label announced a "merger" with their food partner Tacos Valentina - the combined entity is called Cerveceria Oro.

    Given that the social media post goes on to mention their new flagship Mexican lager and that it's KC's first Mexican-owned beer brand...that's not a merger, but a purchase.

    Ah ok. Those tacos are absolute FIRE though! And I live in Florida where we have a LOT of great spots for tacos.

    Boho Brewing has announced its closure via Instagram this morning. Friday (October 3rd) will be their last day open according to the post.

    For the (largely out-of-town) folks who

    a) want/like to visit BKS, but
    b) find it not as conveniently located as many of the other downtown-ish breweries are...

    ...the Crossroads location (17th and McGee) opens this Friday, December 5th.

    “The next few weeks” turned into “five months”, but Up North Brewery has (apparently, based on their only functional Internet presence of an Instagram account) opened just before Christmas.
