Ditto. If I find one, fine, but I'm not that big of a fan of the base beer or the type of barrel.

I found Barn Burner to taste markedly different from when I had it at the Houston Beer Festival and the next time at Petrol Station (I think?). I may have had heat exhaustion (the heat that day was brutal), but I really enjoyed it at the HBF and thought it was great. The next time? Not so much.

Flying Saucer had the Chardonnay Barn Burner on Cask at the Karbach tap takeover a few weeks back, but I've yet to have a cask beer I like.

I hope whatever 007 is, whenever they get there, it will be a badass beer, because I'm going to buy a ton regardless.

As much as we all love Goldeneye, if this keeps up the thread will get locked on page one.

To get back on topic, has anyone tried Pontificator yet? Picked some up last night but haven't had a chance.

Well allow me to get this train back on the tracks... I found Fragile (Frageelay) to be terrible. I love Weisse Versa and everything else I've had is pretty average.

Come on Karbach boys let me hear from ya!

Hmmm.... interesting. I have one bottle of all the F.U.N. series and I haven't opened them yet. I have been waiting for my brother so we can do a tasting together, but I'm getting really tired of waiting. I also love Weisse Versa but Hopadillo didn't impress me, but then again the Hopadillo sat in my fridge for a while so it wasn't fresh.

Ponti will probably last as long as Yule, which is nuts because i drank the hell out of Yule. It was tasty!

Agreed on the Frageelay. I did a side-by-side with yule, and enjoyed the yule much better.

Picked up some Pontificator at Specs on Westheimer/Kirkwood. Had about 5 cases that hadn't been touched. They had 4 bottles of Yule on an end display sitting on the floor between stacks of other beer.

I really enjoy Frageelay, and it is getting really good reviews so I am not alone. Just to throw some other opinions out there:wink:
