Between D&Q beer station and Specs downtown, they will have about 99% of all available beers in TX, not counting TX-made beers that aren't distributed here like Lakewood, Hops and Grain, etc.

Anyone know who still has Pontificator? Rodeo Clown? Hellfighter? Thinking about getting someone to mule some up this weekend.

 

What part of town? Pontificator and "Regular" Hellfighter are easy pickups. Rodeo Clown is year round so nothing difficult there.

 

Yea, should've mentioned, north Metro area, more specifically around 610/Yale. If you know of some close spots that have these, it would be helpful, or I'd imagine they're all at Specs Smith St?

Also, I just knew Black Butte was gonna be my go to beer - Till I cracked open that OG Hellfighter.......Karbach for the love of god can this or something.

 

Bear Creek HEB had a good amount of Hellfighter last night. I'm from Austin, and I hadn't seen bottles of it the previous times I'd been in Houston, so I picked one up. I've actually only had the BA version once on tap, so I'm hoping that this is great.

The Kroger at 5150 Buffalo Speedway has Pontificator on clearance for $6.50 for those interested.

 

Have a few...I'll probably crack one up tonight after sitting on a few for since it came out. On draft it was delish. First tastes out of the bottle weren't awful but close.

 

Eric just needs to give me his BBA Hellfighter stash and be done with it, I really need more of that beer in my stash.

It is freaking hard seeing my last bomber mocking me everytime I visit the old cellar. Gotta save it for the epic F.U.N. bottle share. 001 - 007 in one go should be fun!

 

Pontificator is really good. But I just drank my last one over the weekend and it seems to have fallen off a bit. Could just be my taste, but if you are having this for the first time, don't judge it by how it stands now.

Same here. It's laughing at me right now as I type this.

 

All are at Specs Smith St. The Kroger on 11th and Shepard has a good selection. I am sure still some Pontificator, and maybe Hellfighter. Premium Draught on Studewood has most everything from Karback. Might still have Hellfighter on tap for growler fill.

Go for a bottle of BA Gonzo. It's the same beer. Just putting that one out there...

 

I know what I'm about to say is sacrilegious but I've had BBA Hellfighter and BA Gonzo side-by-side. I thought BA Gonzo was much better.
