Not my favorite either but I had a Hop Delusion right before so...might have been Delusional. That is one mighty fine beer.

 

I've had Hop Delusion.. it is very good... next time I have it, I want to compare it directly to Sculpin and Endeavour if possible... or whenever we get Enjoy By again..

 

All this Hop Delusion talk hnnnngggg!! Really looking forward to this one.

 

Damn I need to get some of the newest batch of Hellfighter. I only have 1 of the batch 03's left.

 

Let me know if you can't find one. I'm sure we can figure a trade out.

 

BBH may be one of my favorite beers, but 005 is just..well...disappointing. If you put regular Hellfighter and 005 beside each other, I probably couldn't tell the difference. What the hell happened to my BBH?!

 

Not enough time in the barrels!

Don't worry though, Cherry BBA Hellfighter will be in the barrels as long as 003 and will taste so much better!

 

So there is a noticeable difference between the 003 and 005?

 

Base beer shines through better on 005 than on 003. More Barrel character on 003

 

but the barrel is what made it great.

I should start trading my 005s for 003s. 4 005s for 3 003s.

I got the last of these a few minutes ago. Someone snagged a few, because when I got in and asked if they still had any, he told me where they were "if he didn't get them all"

 

I just did a vert of the two last night. BBH3 was so smooth and far from warm. BBH5 was hot and needs time.
