    At the sugarland beerfeast it was roll in the hay(barn burner aged in chardonnay barrels).

    Just to clear up confusion, we did one single Chardonnay barrel of Barnburner last year as a test batch. I know Hay Merchant had a cask, as did the SugarLand Saucer's BeerFeast. The original test batch for Bodacious aged in Merlot barrels (that were acquired from the good folks @ Hay Merchant, as stated above). Bodacious itself, was a mix of Merlot and Cab. We do quite a bit of single barrel test batches, but not all of them are released. Hope everyone's enjoying Fun004.

    Last night out of a bottle = good, Brett, little barrel.

    Today on Tap = Butter, dry hopped with butter.

    I'm at work till Midnight... a lunch hour from 6:30 - 7:30 is not enough to travel from Downtown - Garden Oaks in traffic sadly.

    However, I'll be at Hay Merchant with Numb Comfort in about an hour.

    I just had some Roll in the Hay at Hay Merchant and I think it's delicious.

    I enjoyed it a great deal more on tap, it definitely tasted more creamy/ buttery than out of the bottle.

    came home to some baked chicken, roasted butter herb potatoes and creamy garlic kale salad...provided by my lovely fiancée.

    I decided, hey....why not pop this FUN 004 after a hard days work.

    ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.
