    Here we go again..

    Bourbon Barrel Hellfighter aged in Maker's Mark and Four Roses barrels.

    I wonder how different this tastes from 003 and 005. 005 is drinking pretty damn well now.

    yeah it's pretty fucking boring to have a local brewery that produces a bourbon barrel aged porter that is distributed multiple times per year and is actually worth a shit.

    Has it been released? Any advice on where to look for it Matt? I have a friend in Houston for work right now and it would be cool if he could track one down. Thanks.

    Karbach has posted pics of them bottling it on their Facebook page, but it hasn't been released yet. Speculation is next week.

    After a bit of research I stumbled upon this: "003 is a blend of barrels from Heaven Hill Distillery which included: Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, and Old Fitzgerald."

    i like they're experimenting with different barrel blends.

    i would just love to see them introduce more beer styles into barrels.

    then again, they only make a few styles of beer that would benefit greatly from barrel aging. pontificator, maybe?

    karbach, if you're lurking....please age rodeo clown in barrels previously filled with night train and call it "hobodacious"

    will buy.

    graham said they put wiesse versa into wine barrels when i was at craft pride in austin. karbach is experimenting..

    FUN needs some more variety. I say release BBA Hellfighter under its own label and have varieties released under the FUN label. Or, brew different styles for the fun. Don't just experiment with beers in your current line up.

    they currently have one of those barrels in isolation, because of magical mishap.

    may possibly see something along the lines of a berliner weisse on tap at the brewery in the future.

    Has Karbach thought about tinkering into a stout? A Katz Coffee colab wouldn't be the worst idea ever.
