Karbach and Austin Beerworks seem to be on the same page as far as distro and awesomeness are concerned.

    ^This

I haven't got the opportunity to try Karbachtoberfest yet but I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, as I said, satisfy the locals, and grow outward. College Station is the next "outward" destination to the north outside metro Houston so this makes sense.

Our Garden Ridge burnt down, where else can I buy thousands of themed Christmas ornaments that don't cost $20 each? I suppose the money saved could go to winter warmers....

One day I am sure they will be a regular release in cans. They are so young, and doing so well! I am okay with them taking their time and keeping growth steady. I want to see them succeed, they have a really solid selection of brews thus far.

Yes.. this makes sense.. and I've been able to get Karbachtoberfest at the Flying Saucer downtown and at my local place Gordon Street Tavern in Alvin... and I plan on hitting up the Flying Saucer Karbachtoberfest night, October 10th... so I'll have another pint or two then!

Went to the Smith Street Specs (Downtown, Houston) and they mentioned that they might release Krunkin Pumpkin the same day Pumpkinator comes out. I've been told they want to create a battle of the Pumpkins thing brewing wise for the Houston breweries. It's going to be incredibly hectic for me trying to get both of these gems the same day if it turns out like this.

According to their Facebook page Karbachtoberfest wil be available in cans next year.

The release date for Krunkin Pumpkin is supposed to be October 8th not the 15th. This information can also be found on their Facebook page. So unless Spec's in going to hold on to it and not release it on time you shouldn't have to wait until the 15th to get it. I will be severely pissed off if Spec's delays the release.

That's freaking stupid! Delay the release of KP, at Specs anyway, just to create even more of a frenzy! Dumbass's!!!! Besides the only way to create a "battle" would be to only allow customers to buy one or the other.

Ha, love me some miss quotes. One of my Karbach guys was unsure of the actual release date (he said 8th or 16th) and one of the dates mentioned was the same date as Pumpkinator. We were making jokes about a houston pumpkin beer show down. By no means am I holding the beer back and of course it's going to be released the moment it comes in.

People still believe everything on the internet is true

Lindsey, Thanks for clearing this up for us. Things happen and releases get delayed for a number of different reasons and I didn't think that y'all would try to intentionally do something like this. I'm glad that the truth is out there.

Can't tell tone over the net. Ment to be more sarcastic. Oh well, thanks for the clarification.

It doesn't make sense for a retailer to hold onto inventory, that's an additional cost that no retailer I know of wants to incur.

    Cheers,
