Saw this pop up in the BB Hellfighter thread and decided it needed its own thread. Will be released in bottles soon but not sure when. I've heard next Monday but don't hold me to it. Had this at the Downtown Flying Saucer last week and thought it was a good beer; not Weekend Warrior wow but good. A little thin on taste I thought. I was expecting something a bit bigger, not IPA big but a bit more flavor. Anyone else had it? What did you think?

Like I said earlier, I love it. One of my favorite beers made in 2012. So well balanced.

I think this will be a Yule sized shipment and easy to find. I'll grab a few for my trading folks and be done with it.

I'm glad to see their seasonals coming out regularly.

Still seeing Yule on shelves, which bodes well with Pontificator. Glad there wont be a mad rush this. Might be different if they bottle Weekend Warrior. I'll take somebody out!!

I just spoke with someone who said the distributor said Weekend Warrior was only Kegs this go round. Take it for what it's worth, it was a Specs Beer guy. He did tell me this with no prompting so I think he at least thinks the distributor thinks this is the case.

Karbach tweeted Weekend Warrior won't be canned until next year and will be available January–March. https://twitter.com/karbachbrewing/status/287295767121625088

I believe that. I told Erick (owner) at Saucer Downtown that it needed to be canned/bottled immediately he hinted that it will be in the future. Man they make some good beer.

Even though I thought it was a bit light on the dopplebock flavor, I'll pick some of this up.

I liked it.. didn't love it.. but I'll pick up a bottle.

Now has anyone heard if they are ever going to can the regular hellfighter.. I think it needs to be had in six packs..

Well that is better than nothing... but I wish they would do cans and just make it a regular member of the lineup. Cans are a much better deal per ounce usually and I don't have to worry about draining 22 oz at a time if I don't want to... maybe further in the future.

Picked up 2 bottles of Pontificator from the Shell. A little pricier there than usual for a Karbach, $9.99+tax a bottle.

I just had some more at the Sugar Land Saucer. Don't know how anybody says this is thin? Pretty much spot on for a Dopplebock.

I'm pretty sure that is what I paid for Krunkin Punkin at HEB.
