Zee German Pils is a nice step up from Barn Burner. I'm going to pick up a twelve pack of this beer. I'm pretty impressed. I think it hangs well with Live Oak Pilz and Real Ale Hans Pils. I've had it on draft and in a can now and both beers were excellent.

I'm a big fan of all of their seasonal's now...

    Karbachtoberfest
Mother In Lager (probably my favorite)
    Staycation

I find myself picking these beers up more than their regular lineup, except for Weisse Versa. I do like Weekend Warrior also.

Good work Karbach. I'll be enjoying a lot of Zee German Pils and Staycation over the next few months.

Out of all their seasonal's, Staycation is my hands down favorite. So easy to drink.

Yeah I had a lot of that last summer. It was my go to when I'd go to Killen's Barbecue in Pearland. That and a beef rib... perfect combo.

Staycation, Mother in Lager, and Barn Burner (is this being retired?) have always been a bit too sweet for my taste.

Weisse Versa and Hopadillo are my favorites.

Yes, I believe Barn Burner is being discontinued. Though the barrel-aged version, Roll in the Hay, will be back at some point.

Zee is getting very good reviews so far. I'm always skeptical of American pilsners, but I think I'm going to have to pick this up.

Ok have to taint the water here, has anyone had the Shiner Hoppy Pils. I think they did a good job on it. Haven't gotten the Zee yet because I have no room in my fridge for more beer now

Not my favorite pils, but I thought it was a solid effort from Shiner. I haven't tried Zee yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

I always looked forward to Barn Burner. I thought it was one of their better beers. Am I missing something?

I didn't like barn burner and do rather enjoy Zee. That's said, I can't get enough of Sierra Nevada nooner pils. So good!

I'm going to try and do a direct comparison with Zee German, Hans Pils and Live Oak Pilz when I can get my hands on cans of all three. I guess I'll need a third hand. Seems complicated but I'll see what I can do.

Ok had the Zee tonite, maybe not my thing but I like the Hoppy Pils better. I think it is because the Hoppy Pils reminds me of Schlitz, which has a soft place in my heart

The more I drink Zee German, the more it reminds me of Weihenstephaner Pils. Something I like more and more every time I have it.

It's so good! And it crushes like crazy. Three drinks and the can is gone. The tricky part will be continuing to find it fresh.

Yep, that is my thought as well. I love Nooner and Pivo, both would be a staple for me if I could regularly find six packs that are not 6+ months old (at least at the Kroger that is nearest me). I think it is smart for Karbach to do this as a seasonal. Hopefully that helps a little.

I don't think they make hell fighter anymore, aside from the bbh series
