Was excited when I first heard about this beer and early reviews have only piqued my interest. Has anyone seen this guy around the westside of LA? Appreciate your tips in advance!

Its been distributed in the SD area, something like 600 cases. Furthest North I've seen it is Oceanside. I was lucky and a friend picked some up for me at the Churchills event, had it last night, its a good beer.

Appreciate the response. I assume it will hit the BevMo distro network, given that their 22nd anniv. was there and it seems many of their special releases make it there as well. In any event, happy to know that the search is at least worthwhile.

I don't know what you consider west side but Total Wine in Northridge had some.

I'm pretty sure it's already hit BevMo's; could've sworn I saw some at the one in Encinitas down here in San Diegoland.

My local bottle shop in south OC (Amazing Grapes) got it in over a week ago.

All over san Diego, don't know how far north its going. Bevmo Carmel mountain still has over 10 cases. $8.99 is a steal, I bought about 7.

Agreed. Easily worth the 8.99 (and I'd pay more.)

Pretty sure NorCal is seeing none of this stuff...really disappointing. I've talked to 5 local Bevmo's and none of them know if they're getting any, even though they have the full regular lineup. Doesn't help the OP, but if anyone sees it up north can you let me know? Thanks.

If you look at Karl Strauss' distribution map, it only goes as far north as SLO, Kern, and San Bernardino counties. Hope you're able to get some cuz it's tasty.

I picked up a bottle @ Hollingshead. Also Total Wine in Irvine had some.

Corona BevMo has em, so does the BevMo in Menifee and Irvine. Well worth the price of admission on this one.

Thank you. I saw that map the other day, but thought since the Bevmo's up here have their regular lineup, we would see some. I think the brewery gave Bevmo strict instruction to not send it north, and just keep it local. Makes sense, but sucks for me...

Sold out at the Northridge Total Wines, & no dice at the Simi Valley Bevmo. Still on the hunt myself. This one is moving surprisingly fast it seems.

Thanks man, appreciate the offer. I still have some smaller & better bottle shops to try for it that may likely have it, but will let you know.

I'm kinda curious, the 22nd bottles were all over LA, at least at all the BevMo's. The 23rd has yet to be seen. But, the 22nd was a blend of 25% aged with 75% fresh. But the 23rd is 100% aged. If the same number of barrels were used, we are looking at 1/4 the number of bottles from last year. Can anyone chime in on this?

This is such a fantastic beer. Especially for the price. Really glad they didn't doing any blending this year.

Looks like a bottle count of just under 5000, can't speak for the 22nd Anny though.
