just tried this beer last night, found it to be a solid offering (especially after some of the other holiday ales from them that have been average) super smooth and drinkable...

However my issue is at the brewey they're charging $35 for a growler fill!!! That seems extremely steep for KS.

Has anyone had a chance to try this and believe that is nearly worth the price? I'd love to take a growler home, but nearly not at that price point.

The bottles should be under $10

I'm pretty certain I paid under 10 at a San Diego Whole Foods, but I'm a bit hazy on it.

Yeah the bottle price is pretty spot on, just seems insane for KS to charge that price for a growler. More reputable beers/breweries go for less.

I had this yesterday at the location near Santa Fe Depot. I thought it was solid too, best beer I had last evening by far. I only had a taster, so whole flight was $4 for me. I'd never pay that much for a growler.

Karl has high growler prices in general. Not sure why...

Not on Friday's. $8 fills with the growler code from social media.

Walked down there for dinner tonight had a glass of it which was pretty damn good. $14 for a 22oz bottle. BDBS has the bottle for $12.

Ended up staying at Strauss over an hour longer than I anticipated after eating at the bar just by talking to people on either sides of me. So glad I moved here.
