    Never had a Kate and I have a potential trade set up and this is the main part. Does it hold up well?

    Yes, or actually 11.something, all the other years were bombers. '09 is rumored/confirmed to be infected, stay away.

    To be perfectly honest, I'm not a huge fan of aged KtG. The port barrels just overwhelm the subtle nuances of the base beer and rob it of it's balance. To each their own, I suppose.
