I have a cellared ‘13 bourbon barrel GBS

In your opinion, do you think that could land a kbbs or am I still off?

Bourbon BA Gingerbread Bread Stout from Hardywood? If so, you’re beyond way off in my opinion.

Aye. When I saw this posted last night at this time I was having trouble falling asleep, and what I typed was discouraging, so I figured I'd let someone else break it first.

OP: I'm not a fan of "secondary valuations," but this is a really good example where checking out what a bottle sells for may give you a really good idea the disparity between what you have and what the bottle you want costs. It's suggested that you look at the "completed trades" forum for such big beers - but if you do not know the relative value of those beers being traded for, it may not be helpful. -So, in this case, making a few google searches may be extremely beneficial in terms of gaining knowledge.

Feel free to ask anything else you want. We all start someplace in terms of our knowledge base.

    Best of luck.

This is true. When I first started getting into 'craft' beers and started looking at trading for some of the things on top of many lists, I thought that just because I had a hard time tracking down Zombie Dust that it would be able to pull something just like KBBS. Over time and after a lot of reading and research, I realized how foolish it was to think that. Now I know that even offering a Marshmallow Handjee for KBBS is way off.

So like you say, a lot of 'completed trades' reading, but more importantly the ISO:FT forum will help. There you can truly see what a beer is going for when someone is offering it FT or has it ISO.

Ok yeah, I wasn’t really sure about it that’s why I asked here before seeing how it would go in iso:ft. Thanks for the insight, looks like it’s off the see what trades have been completed for it and then wallow in the beers I don’t have to to get it done. Lol thanks for breaking it lightly guys :sunglasses:
