    I know, I know, no proxies allowed

    Just wondering if anyone has any experience trying to skirt this. I won the KBBS lottery but can’t make it to pick up myself. Possible to put someone else down on my ticket from the start, who will pickup?

    Usually when buying the ticket the name has to match the winning name or you cannot keep the transaction. Sometimes they just scan the ticket and get the bottle and sometimes they scan the ticket and check ID but typically the big bottles like this they will check ID. Ultimately you’re either going to have to come to iowa or miss out

    The only other thing I could think of would be to send someone that looks moderately like you your ID to proxy.
    But that’s kind of ridiculous, risky, and dishonest.

    Thanks for the responses, everyone. There was a chance I was going to be in the area around that time, so figured it was worth a shot. Alas, it seems it’s not in the cards.
