Yeah same here....would love some CW BBStout, BBBW, BBCherryStout, or Peruvian Morning. They are all pretty fantastic

They could retail this stuff at $10 a bottle and I would buy it all day long. CW does have some solid BA beers right now, including Fourteen Fourteen and are a much better deal, but there is nothing like KBS.

Was offered some at a small, relatively new bottle shop in the western 'burbs of Chicago today. I was interested 'til the proprietor said it was $15/bottle. I told him that I was happy with the six that I already have that cost me less than three of his would.

i've paid between $5 and $10 at stores this year. i think it's a decent price for all the demand that there is for it.

You aren't doing yourself any favors by hanging onto those Peruvian Mornings...for as available as they are, the aging doesn't do much for the beer, IMO.

I paid $20.00 for a bottle at Northdown Tap in Chicago. Definitely wasn't worth it, but I couldn't find any elsewhere and wanted to try this year's. I guess I need to make a friend who works at Binny's or something, because it seems like every store sells out to their friends before they even release it to the public. Oh well; whaddayagonnado?

$10 at a bottle shop? I might do it, but I wouldn't be happy about it. Then again, I bought two bottles for $9.50 apiece at a local restaurant last week, so I guess I'd probably still buy it. But only one. Well, maybe two, but no more.

i passed on the $20 bottle at northdown. i probably would've paid it though if i didn't have a stash at home.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $10 for the first try of it and since I've had it, I wouldn't spend more than $7 or $8 for another and that's pushing it. If you really want to try the beer and are in the mood for an Imperial Stout then I think $10 is probably worth it, but it's right on the boarder for me.

if i didn't have it, 10 bucks would be pushing it on a 12oz. but i have a 'stash'. so i'm good. if i were out, even with my stash,i'd do it. i know i'd appreciate it and my girl would. anyone looking for some, i'm chicago.

I don't mean to thread jack but, BM me if either of you guys is interested in these CW offerings and want to trade.

Continuing the thread....KBS at $10/bottle is nuts! I have had 5 bottles of '12 and not a single one of them was like another. No consistency at all!
