    It was definitely corrected, we made friends lol. To be fair, I did order something non-KBS in between each glass of KBS. My hangover confirms this.

    It was honestly never crowded, and half the people there were not there to drink KBS either it seemed. The keg was still going when we left at about 7:30 PM, but my guess is that it kicked shortly after that.

    I was told it kicked at 9:30. I hope everyone who came to check it out had a good time, that little hiccup aside. My buddy who owns the place does not know as much about beer as anyone you'll see in these threads, so I help him out and have been slowly increasing his buying power since he opened.

    For a restaurant with some ethnic leanings, I have found that I really love the atmosphere there for drinking nights, and it's comparable to most decent smaller beer bars in Philly where I live.

    We have a good relationship with Founders and there is always at least one of their beers on our 8 taps, so I can basically guarantee we will always get KBS and bottles or kegs of backstage stuff. I'm going to look into Smoked Porter since they let some kegs out of state for that now (and it's amazing).

    Anyway, sorry for the hiccup guys, I'll make sure that he knows never to try to limit pours at future events unless it's like a Kuhnhenn sour or something and he makes it clear before the event. I have been to plenty of ticketed events for BA Abraxas and the like, and that I can understand. PM me if you ever have a good/bad time there as I'd love the feedback. I want this place to be like a secret haven for intense beer nerds like me.

    no apology necessary, we had a great time after they cleared up the "only one glass" hiccup. I would absolutely go back there, place had a great vibe. If I wasn't so full from a Bareburger lunch I would have eaten there too.

    back on tappings...Draught 55 is tapping KBS at 6 PM on Monday the 7th. Sure to be a shitshow full of people you want to punch in the mouth.

    FYI Nadery has a Barrel Aged Reds Rye going on tap next week at some point.

    Phillyfolks, I haven't seen any word on tappings this weekend or early next week. Any word?

    Iranian-american ownership and fusion cuisine, I suppose. lots of Iranian culture to be found within its doors, but the owner also has a strong commitment to craft beer, and has even long rejected dealing with Goose Island because of the AB-Inbev ownership, though I've recently convinced him to bend there.

    was at Draught 55 tonight and got my first taste of 2014 KBS and i have to say, I was a bit disappointed. seems a lot thinner and less coffee forward than prior years. dont get me wrong, it's great, but something about it was not enitrely satisfying.

    Not really a tapping, but had it at Union Jacks last week in Winchester, va, they had bottles, got the heads up from a buddy who was there earlier that day, good to know the bartenders really well. Thought this years is as good, if not better than last years botltkes, great mouth feel, great balance. I've still got 2 bottles from last year, and was able to get 5 this year...

    Would like to try it on tap, but haven't made the drive to DC or N VA yet for it.
