Price check? And are they releasing it today? Trying to gauge for the Total Wine near me.

Casually walked into Total Wine in Norwalk, CT at 8am today and grabbed a 4pk for $19.99.

About as much work as I'm willing to put in for KBS at this point.

High Spirits in Providence announced about an hour ago (so around 10:30 on Friday morning) - two bottle limit (more or less across from Nikki's in the University Heights Whole Foods plaza). I don't know the price since I really don't care about KBS one way or t'other, but figured I'd post the PSA.

Kay's in East Hartford: $7, one bottle limit. Yikes.

So I see they haven't changed their ways.

I think max beverage is the winner, here. $9/bottle!

Farmington or West Hartford? How much? Honestly, I don't have too much problem with price gauging. Gives me a better chance to get the beer even though I'm in the office all day until 6 tonight. Supply and demand...that being said it should be Founders gauging the price on their best beer, not the package stores. Make a great beer that flies off the shelves, Founders should be the ones getting the huge margins.

Agreed. The person at Total Wine I talked to said "the season starts April 4" and she expects it will be available by next week.

Grabbed the last 4pk at Crazy's in Bristol. They have 2 singles left on display.

My local place in Boston said they are supposed to get their delivery on Tuesday.

Patrick: Farmington, though I'm sure the price is the same at both places.

Looked like they had about a case and a half left at 11:45, 2/pp.

Interesting note - last year they were also selling single bottles for $9, but after people complained they said it was a mistake in their system and it should've been $6.99 and offered refunds. I wonder if that's happened here again. An odd coincidence, if that's the case.

Grabbed a single at Crazy Bruce's for $5.99 an hour ago. They also had fresh Pour Judgment on the shelves and Captains Daughter behind the counter. Hoping the CD isn't infected like the last batch I got a month and a half ago. Drain poured them :slight_frown:

BottleStop in Avon, CT listing single bottles for a cool $9.99. No thanks.

If that means it stays on the shelves until 6 PM, I'm buying...does that make me a bad person?

Nope, they know the demand is there. Some may choose to pass, some may feel it's worth it. Free market at work.

If we're talking about the 2/12 batch, I don't think it was infected. I think they just screwed it up somehow. I had a 4pack and it just tasted different, not infected. I've bought it at least twice since then and there haven't been any issues.

Doesn't make you a bad person, but if you have a chance to get it elsewhere, I'd go there first.
