KBS and/or Black Note In Florida

I'd compare Bomb to Hunahpu and Abraxas before I'd compare it to KBS/BCBCS.

 

Went to two stores today in FL and called two others in the area. Sold out on KBS everywhere I look. Bummer.

 

I think all the KBS is gone in Florida. Most of it was distributed last week and was gone in minutes. Unless some store is stashing the stuff, there won't be any more to go around. Time to start searching for Black Note!

as for getting landscapers to mule for you... i thought about doing something similar, but i figured that i'd rather give someone else a shot at snagging a bottle for themselves. i got my allotment from various stores and am happy with that.

 

I'm sure he isn't. It was just my initial reaction because I'm not a horder nor was I looking to profit, and I'm 100% sure people bring their GFs or friends in some instances to snag another bottle of something when there's a max. This is my first rodeo with these limited release beers and i happen to love KBS/Founders breakfast stout.

I'm sure as one of my first posts that probably wasn't the ideal thing to mention, but I didn't trek them around in a car with me going from store to store. After now just reading what happened at Hunahpu, i "kinda" get why some people might get upset if they read something like that even though it's not the same. Still learning the ropes around here

 

JJT services SWFL with warehouses in Tampa and Fort Myers, so he's probably in luck if they get some this year.

Hope they get some down here in Naples too.

 

There are at least a couple of stores in the Orlando area that are getting their KBS shipment next week

 

Pleasant surprise to find KBS at The Dirty Shame in Tampa last night. $10 a bottle, limit one, but man was it tasty!

I had no recollection, but Untappd reflects that I drank Black Note on draft at a Bell's tap takeover at The Local Craft Food & Drink in the Gables in early April 2012. I've never seen bottles down here though.

This other ocala store somehow has all the kbs reserved to one dude. Not cool

Lakeland, FL: KBS keg being tapped Wednesday night @ 7. You are only allowed to come if you don't kick the keg before I get there. I won't be in a rush since we don't have too big a craze here. Brass Tap lakeside village.

Eh, when you look it his AV it's easy to see he is a beer hoarder. Forever convinced that they deserve more special beer than their laughable original allotment.
