I didn't mean to turn you off it mate, apologies. My comments on KBS are only based on my past experiences with it. Many love it, and if you haven't had it before then definitely pick up a bottle or two! You'll likely have to wait a while before having the chance again

 

I called them up and they said it all went out the door on the first day.

 

President cellars in rockdale had it last thursday still. Selling it in 4 packs as well as singles.

 

They have it at Barny's.... wait for it..... $28.

Had this on tap at DTC last night.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed but..........

The bourbon was very strong upfront, it was then pleasantly balanced by some cocoa and roastiness which would have been nice to finish here but then the bourbon came back with a vengeance which threw it out a bit. It was balanced, but wasn't, if that makes sense. Perhaps it could do with some time.

I have a few bottles at home, so going to keep some and drink in 12 months, 24 months etc.

It's a good beer but probably not worth the effort and price it takes to acquire.
