KBS bottle availability in DC/NOVA

Cairo Liquor in DC has some, but it's only being sold by the bottle and they don't have much.

 

$6.99 per, one bottle limit. Casually placed on the shelves. They just earned my future business.

 

Thanks for the heads up! So happy to have a bottle after getting shut out the past two years. Just got back and I think there was about 6 or 8 left on the shelf (that was roughly 20 minutes ago).

Looks like I too am on the hunt. Work travel made me miss the boat. Seems most NoVA stores are sold

 

Whole Foods Fairfax just got theirs in about 25 min ago, 2 bottle limit...

 

And it's gone at WF in Fairfax, gone in under 45 min I think...

 

Dominion is releasing it today at 5 pm. 1 bottle per person. Should be a shit show.

 

For a single bottle, is it really worth it at that point? Not for me...

 

Just got the last bottle from Chevy chase wine. WF Tenleytown had a few left. 1 bottle limit

I called Metro Wine and Spirits in Columbia Heights/ADMO, and they were selling 4 packs for 40.99. They're not getting my business.

 

It was $49.99 when I was there.

 

They wanted $49.99 from me too earlier today. Maybe since I walked out on that price after driving from VA they lowered it?

 

DC_brah probably just heard wrong, $40.99 is a wierd price and could sound a lot like $49.99.

 

Metro can be up for bartering though depending on the situation at least. For example. My friend and I found they had backyard a week after everybody else sold out. 23.99 limit 3. My friend and I bought half their case. I called my friend in there as he was desperate for some so he got in a cab from dupont to metro wine and spirits. They must have heard me on the phone because 15 minutes later when he got there the price as 29.99 and what my friend and I paid was a clerical error. My friend and his girlfriend bought 4. 2 months later my friend and I were eating lunch nearby (Doner Bistro. Their currywurst is the shit) and they still had the same 2 bottles still. We talked them back down to at least closer to their normal price. Got it for 24.99 each. I can roll with that.
