KBS Bottle Release

CBS just went on

 

Hope they tap some for Saturday!

 

If anyone is there, can you ask if t will be on tap Saturday?

 

Well so much for that....half way home now. Oh well, had a great time at Founders and Perrin. Drink up boys!

 

Just walked in.....CBS gone.....missed it again. Server told me it wont be back on today.

 

So CBS was on less than an hour? Not a good sign... but given that Saturday is the biggest day, I'd imagine that they would do at least a couple of tappings throughout the day.

 

Yeah, this seems like something they will do each day. It would seem dumb to put it on just for Tuesday and no other days. I am sure this week they will have it on and then Saturday they will see more tappings.

 

Was at Founders from 2-3:30pm today to pick up my KBS and have a great lunch outdoors (70 degrees!). CBS was not on tap. My guess is it may show up but will not be announced. However, if you go, try Spike Cutlass. It's their base 12% Barleywine used to make Bolt Cutter. Non-barrel aged but absolutely delicious!

Haven't seen any comments on how KBS is this year. I'll be up there tomorrow and Thursday

 

I'll say that this years KBS is phenomenal as always...liking this one fresh more and more along with others (BCBS, SMS, etc.). Had a 2015 and 2014 within the past month and still a damn good stout, the bourbon is mellowing out. While some may prefer this, I like the heat up front...cheers!

 

FWIW, HopCat is out of KBS and Hipster Brunch as of last night.

 

Good to hear. Can't wait to get up there tomorrow. This is probably a dumb question but they DO have it on tap right? Or do they wait til the weekend?

What is the ABV this year listed on new bottle design/label anywhere? cheers!

 

12.4% on the back of the label.
