since they've made no secret about it, and since i've decided to stay home and drink a 2012 instead, fischmans in jefferson park will be tapping kbs at 8pm tonight.

 

She said I missed out by mere minutes. It sucked but I figured ok, fair is fair, it happens. Knowing that she was full of shit is really frustrating.

 

some whole foods take lists. it's possible the KBS was someone elses and that person was simply picking it up. and or someone might have cancelled their kbs order and another employee stocked it.

 

There were absolutely no lists at this location.

 

Whole Foods Kildeer still had single bottles a couple hours ago for $5.95. Much nicer staff over there too. A+

 

So get this, my local store in Schaumburg has it. BUUUUUUUT they require you to buy a 6 pack to sell you the bottle for 7.99 for the bottle + 6 pack price. Also, the 6 pack has to be founders. According to them they were told this.

 

There was not a list. Earlier in the week one of the beer/wine guys told me thier location did away with lists a while ago.

 

Yeah I think I just saw you there. And if I did, its 8.99 a bottle, and they want 11.99 for a 6pack of All Day IPA. I opted out. Screw that noise.

Oh that wasnt you I saw then. The place I was at, a customer walked in and asked about KBS and when told about the 6 pack deal, asked if he could get 2 bottles of KBS if he bought 2 6 packs. I was thinking to myself "DONT DO IT MAN!!"

 

KBS is dumb! That's my $.02

 

Avoid Foremost in VP like the plague. $9 for a bottle of "this one goes to eleven". Nice.

 

ehhh fucking morons then i guess. kidding.

that being said, i know folks who work there, whole foods, and aren't morons. they do have lists, internal. sometimes, unfortunately the list doesn't make it to the public. the way you mention kildeer makes me think you know some who works there or you do work there.

there might be internal lists though. i know a lot of folks who've told me this from different whole foods in the chicagoland.

LOL nope. Just good experiences over there. The girl I talked to at Schaumburg was just a dumb ass. Whatever. It happens. I should've gotten a manager. Oh well. Lesson learned.

I did grab a bottle at Kildeer. Probably gonna save it for DLD.

 

i didn't realize i would land on some extra, thanks to my gf, although it cost me extra. anyway, if you want a couple of more BM me. and enjoy some 'fresh' and do what you want with the rest at DLD.
