Twin Cam: Stretch the truth because you and I remember it being one dollar apart?

Sure, the price is OK, and the beer they're packaging it with is good - but maybe they already have a bunch of Sea Hag at home and shouldn't be forced into buying another product just to get the one they truly want.

I don't shop at Kay's, so, if people are cool with getting their Bot that way, all the power to them. I'm just not a fan of the mixing practice, regardless of where it's done.

Lol it would be awesome if everyone that bought it at that price tried to get a refund. Wonder if the guy even knows what kbs is?

$20/4? For once it appears that Connecticut has better buys than Massachusetts, even considering you have sales tax added in Ct. KBS hit some of our Western Mass. stores yesterday, and at the first one I went to after dinner, it was $6.20 a single, and that was all you could buy. Next store had fourpacks right out on the shelf in broad nightlight, but they were $30 each, and you had to ask for the price. Third store had none, may have already sold out, but it was a Whole Foods, maybe they didn't order any. Fourth store, another health food market which had had a nice $20/4 sale on BCBS a few weeks ago, had KBS fourpacks out for $25, and after sucking it up and dropping $30 just because it was there for the taking at store #2, I gladly bought two here for $50.

Tonight I went to yet another store (which if I remember correctly had had KBS hidden behind the counter last year, available for $10 a bottle for anyone who asked for it) and they had at least two cases displayed at the checkout register for $30 each fourpack. But I had already achieved my goal, having bought enough the previous evening to be able to savor one bottle a month until it's out again in 2016. From what I've read above, had I a do over I might have gone down to Ct. and gotten the thirteen bottles I ended up paying $86.20 for for about $15 less after Ct. sales tax.

BTW I drank one bottle last night and it was at least as good as last year. I did not find it "thin" as some have. The last drops dripped out of the bottle slowly like it was maple effing syrup, and it was freaking orgasmic good. But at 11.2%, even with the coffee in it, it definitely kicks your butt.

A store owner in a small town about an hour away posted on Facebook last night that he had "plenty" on hand if anyone could not find some. So bottom line may be: this year KBS seems to be around in significantly greater quantity than last year. Either that, or the higher prices some stores are trying to get for it are causing more potential buyers to balk.

Lmao whaaaaat?!? Good catch dude. I bet the guy doesn't know KBS from KBC, but hell, if he really works there I hope the people they screwed use this for a refund.

Well, I'm in CT and have accumulated all of 1 bottle so far. So I wouldn't be so quick to rush down here.

Eli Cannon's tapping KBS and CBS tonight. $14 for 10 ounces. Yup, not paying those prices.

They listed it at 14 on the website but I'm here and it's actually $10 for a 10 oz. pour. Not all that bad. Taps at 7.

I am not going to name names here, but my favorite package store sent out an e-mail that they would sell 1 12oz bottle from behind the counter if you ask. I stopped 1st in at a well stocked, but clueless store and did not see it. I asked and they said, "oh there's a few cases on the back wall, do you want me to get a 4 pack for you?"
