Not exactly, their drafts are hit or miss. Their bottles are sketchy especially ipas and dipas. Plus they're way overpriced. What I was saying is that Spring House is local and continues to crank out good stuff.

I was in Perfect Pour one time and I can say that I will never return. I don't care how good of a selection they have I refuse to support a business that charges the prices they are charging. I will say that I did notice some prices seemed fair or at least inline with other bottle shops but everything that I really wasn't was way overpriced. I ended up picking up a bottle that Perfect Pour had for $40 and I paid $25 not that far away. That was enough justification for me to never go back.

I would have gladly traded you a bottle $4$ for pretty much anything that isn't local. I would never pay that price and I hope no one else does. Unfortunately I know someone will come along and buy them up no matter the cost so my saying I will never shop there is in vain but it make me feel better.

Never said the price was good, because it isn't. Molly's tends to overprice most of the beer they get. I avoid buying there unless I have no other options.

Granted most places in the Lancaster area are overpriced. It's a bit ridiculous.

$14/12oz. is the highest price I have now seen.Insane.

OP,I understand you wanted a bottle but damn,I would of told them to take that bottle and shove it.

    Cheers

    There's a store in Brooklyn selling it at $16/12oz. - http://www.beermenus.com/places/1735-the-bodega

EDIT - oops didn't see that it hasn't been updated since 3/31/2012, although to think they were selling it for that much then. Also they listed a 2009 KBS under "featured" although who knows if that was accurate then or not.

Just say no. A local place wanted to charge me 13.99 for a bottle of Enjoy By. I said no thanks and walked out. They will lose more money in beer that I won't buy any more than they will make on inflated Enjoy By prices.

Completely agree that's a crazy price but if the OP trades for that obviously adds shipping cost per oz so in the end it's a wash. He wanted to try and bought one.

I definitely understand what you are saying but I was the one that said I would have traded and I live about 40 minutes from lancaster so I could have met the OP and neither of us would have incurred shipping. It's irrelevant now since the OP already purchased the bottle.
