Hoping to land at least one bottle of this. I drank my only bottle fresh last year after I was "over" a cold and my senses were still messed up and it tasted like ethanol and burnt ass.

Last year KBS was not that hard to acquire. The year before, I saw no bottles but it was on tap for about a week in my town at the same bar. This year I think it may be very hard to acquire. It's a pricey 4 pack but when you think about it, ~4ish a bottle for a top ten barrel aged beer...

In regard to stores. From what I have seen more stores get kbs than any of the other founders limited 4-packs/backstage series. Stores need to sell a certain amount to receive some of the limited beers but kbs to be spread thinly to many places

I talked to a shop owner in NYC earlier this week who said that the wholesale price was $4 per bottle this year. I don't think you'll see it for close to that.

None of the stores hold beers around me so I haven't called anywhere. Are the stores supposed to have it today? Or is Founders going to ship today? Would the stores even have it by the end of the day if they ship today?

Just got word from a friend who manages a local liquor store that they've got a case and it's 9.99 a single with a four-pack limit and no price break- over $40 for four. Ridiculous. Trying to decide whether to just go buy a single in case it's my only chance to try 2012 KBS.

My wife grabbed me a single on the way home for lunch today... said it was $10. Insane.

KBS sold out around here in less than an hour today. There are a few bars that are tapping it, so I guess that's my only chance to get any this year.

Wholesale in NY is probably higher than wholesale in OH though...

I picked up two bottles today for $6.95 a piece. I am in the Lansing area of Michigan. It sold out real quick like but one of my go to stores did the wait-list thing.

I live in Tuscaloosa, Al and the whole city only got a few cases. I managed to get my hands on a few bottles, but they sold out extremely fast. For anyone interested in trading, just send me a message, and I'll be willing to at least try and work something out.

KBS was easy to get last year too, and the year before. This year, I got a friend to pick me up a four pack while I was at work to be safe. Went around today and didn't see any. I guess the days of good beer sitting on shelves for this region is over. Oddly enough, I still see Upland Lambics sitting around and bought Cantillon a few times in the last couple months.
