KBS in ATX

Next week?

 

I'm guessing in the next week or two, along with Curmudgeon. Maybe 4/20 as well.

 

This is the thread that will be most entertaining this month. Last years Austin KBS thread was the best show I've seen in a while.

 

Good question. Just checked my pics from last year and it was exactly a year ago this week that it came out, so hopefully soon.

Was told by a local reputable bottle shop that it was supposed to be today. Maybe tomorrow or Monday now though since it didn't show up today.

 

I would be jealous if it was a better beer

You're Right -

should be in between Monday - Friday (depends on the store's delivery day)

 

I didn't drink a single bottle. Just gave it out to guys who had to work that day and missed out.

 

Oh, yeah. I was gonna ask, if you come across another 'No Limit HEB', keep a brotha in mind Things are drying up in my area.

Any word on how much we will see compared to last year? An Abyss style allotment would be satisfactory this year.

 

If only every limited release had an Abyss style allotment and shelf-life

 

Nothing brings out the truck caravan in Austin like KBS...I haven't even tried to chase it the past few years. It's basically sold out within 10 minutes of the shipments arriving at every store. It's just beer and at least the truck chasers aren't asking other shoppers to buy bottles for them yet. BTW, I hear 99% of the Austin allotment is headed south of the river, so don't even bother looking north.

I think the beer is outstanding. It's just a matter of the hassle of chasing it down.

 

Hot shots everywhere, or will it be on normal truck schedules?
