I was wondering if anyone has heard when KBS is hitting Charleston (SC, obviously). Post updates here if/when you get them.
LMFAO We all knew that it'll be out in stores on the first. Poor zac. Missed out on this one too. I didn't get it this year. Hopefully somebody who has never had it got a 4-pack.
Jokes on you all, Total Wine still had some! Ok, so they may have only had 1 bottle left, but 1 bottle of KBS is better than no bottles of KBS. Now all I have to do is decide what I am going to do with that bottle: side by side with BCBCS; side by side with '13 KBS; or add to current vertical to make it 2010-2014. I was planning on doing all three, but you take what you can get.
I have em back to 07. If anyone wants to try some dusties, share a new bottle with me. Looking at you, rbradley.
Don't do a side by side with BCBCS, that's not a fair fight. A better comparison is either Black Note or BCBS. My buddy and I are going to do a 3way comparison hopefully next month or well do it at a bottle share in a few weeks

BCBCS and KBS; my two favorite coffee stouts, both barrel aged. Seems like the perfect fight to me (although granted pre-fight favorite would be BCBCS)
Having had a fresh KBS yesterday, I got very little coffee in it, if any at all. If you do decide to have that side-by-side, drink the KBS (All 12oz) first so you feel as though you tried it before the mouth punch and then pure joy you'll get with the BCBCS...
