    Hey guys,

Anybody have an idea of when KBS is hitting the district and the suburbs this year?

I would suggest you start calling your local shops on Monday. Wednesday may be too late. I am friends with a little birdie.

Chevy Chase said today, with a little bit of an attitude, "I'm sure we'll get some when it becomes available." I pressed for a little more info and he told me he has "no idea" when that is.

I wish shops could consistently get good info about releases like these. Unfortunately, it really is worse than pulling teeth trying to get good dates from distributors. It is why so many shops respond in this manner. The attitude part is unacceptable though.

I can confirm that Total Wine Fairfax has them in as of right now. 1 bottle limit. Total Wine Chantilly also...

TW Fairfax got 3 cases. $6 a bottle. With the 1 bottle limit a lot of people should be able to get their hands on it.

These 1 bottle limits for a 12oz are terrible. I'm all for making sure everyone can get some, but there is no way I'd be driving all over DC/NoVA for 1 bottle...just not worth it to me.

Driving to VA for one bottle really sucks. It's times like this I'm glad places like Chevy Chase still do lists. Although, I hear Rodman's will be selling 4 packs, I mean 2 per customer, I mean 1 per customer, I mean holding a facebook contest.

I agree. I tried telling TW Mclean that I was going to drive to all the others around NoVA to get them anyway, but they didn't buy it...

TW Springfield has 2 cases still. Alex has at least 3. If you're going to Alexandria already and want more Springfield is worth the trip, just 3 more miles down 395.

From what I was told Founders has actually done something so stores can easily input this into their systems this year by the bottle I guess instead of by the four pack.. Not sure that takes much leg work from somebody at a store anyway but I'd expect just about any store that has a semi advanced computer system will have KBS in their system as by the single. The days of 4 packs of this seem to be gone unless you either know somebody/or go to the release which is even only what half case now.

You have to put in the miles to collect what you are looking for or just trade for it

You Maryland folks can stay on that side of the Potomac and stop complaining about our bottle limits here in VA:grinning:
