Isn't Doom set for an April 14 release at the brewery? Something fishy is going on here.

I was quite puzzled by this myself - can anyone who goes today confirm they actually have this?

It looks like he quoted djre4orm's post to me.

Huh, indeed it does. I must have mis-read his and wardenclyffe's reply. I take back what I said about gloating in that case.

And I'm pretty sure I was standing right behind you, too. Still cursing the two red lights that I hit en route this morning -- I'm convinced that was the difference-maker...

They did. Doom was phenomenal imo. I haven't had Pliny but I've had a fair number of high rated IPA's and for me this one takes the cake. It was something else for me.

I got both bottles from him tonight and I also went there for dinner hoping they still had some. The waitress told me they didn't have anymore and my friend went on to tell me that yesterday one employee said they only got one case and were fighting over it internally for the most part. I doubt any of it made it to the sales floor and he was probably lucky enough to grab a few bottles for me.

Also Lost Dog seems to get some decent stuff that people tend to look over. I scored some Stone Enjoy By and a BCBCS on the same day there a week after both hit Va. It's a good place to keep an eye on. Shit they still have Madam Rose.

    Sweet avatar by the way.

Lost Dog has a lot of employees and many of them aren't familiar with their beer program, most of the people who answer their phones are the cashiers taking to-go orders. I always make sure to ask for their beer person in the store and you can get a more accurate answer, don't think it's a case of them playing dumb. I find that Lost Dog is a solid place to find some of the over-hyped stuff as most people tend to overlook them.

I don't think they're familiar with what good pizza tastes like either, but that's neither here nor there.

they have great pizza and great staff all around. I actually went in last night and the girl working said she didn't think they had gotten any in, and then the manager said he had closed up the night prior and they still had 2 4 packs. Thinks that staff bought them. Shrug.

Went down to K1 and was blown away by their selection (haven't been in there for almost 10 years). Manager said they got two cases in on Tuesday and were sold out within 2 hours. Was selling em for $5.99. Gonna have to start hitting up K1 a lot more now that Ricks is gone

Yeah K-1 is what's up and follow them on Facebook. They had a two bottle limit but that's where I scored some last year. Funny enough I went to Lost Dog and K-1 last night as well.

Hey guys, small update but the WF in Falls Church is sold out of KBS. They got 2 cases in and it was all gone this morning. The WF in Vienna has 3 cases, but they are limiting it to one bottle per person. They still had some left as of about 20 min ago.

The one at Tysons? I was there about noon and was half wondering if they had any or not. Was too lazy and discouraged to ask...

Yea the one just off route 7 as you are going toward downtown Falls Church and the 66 ramps. This is the closest one to me so it was a bummer to find out it was all gone. I would have thought I could lock some down there.
