KBS in DC

Heads up to all, Whole Foods old town has some (luckily my girl was able to snag me some)...no idea if there's a limit or not and no clue how much was left or how long it'll be around...

 

It has officially as hit VA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hide yo kids hide yo wives!

 

I just got some at Whole Foods Old Town, $21.99 per four pack, one per customer limit. They had 3 left after I got mine.

 

very successful day. I was able to snag a bottle at Arrowine and then snag another upstairs at the bar at whole foods clarendon. all the while just on a work lunch break. supplies are very limited.

 

arrowine got a single case of 24 bottles. at whole foods clarendon i saw three four packs stacked with about 7 bottles left in them on the counter. don't know if they have any more. the girl working the counter said they also got a keg they will be tapping later, though i very much doubt she means today.

 

Both Foggy Bottom and P Street Whole Foods have it. Two bottle limit at each location and priced $7.99-$8.99 a bottle

 

Scored a bottle at WF P St. 7.99. Only 2 cases came to this store. Gotta ask for it. It's in the back.

Haha I was just thinking how in "high price of craft beer" threads, people always go on about how soon only rich people will be able to afford certain beers, but it seems to me like KBS is only really available to people without jobs.

 

They are open for business and have a product to sell. I feel it is disapointing to chase these beers but it is kinda why I stopped trying.

 

Yeah I'm not criticizing the stores for selling beer, I was just laughing at the irony of the situation.

 

I snagged 2 of the last 4 at WF Foggy Bottom. Thank you, fellow BAers!

Does anyone still sell 4 packs of this stuff???

 

^whole foods old town was selling them by the 4 pack other than them though I haven't seen or heard of anyone else selling them in 4 packs

 

they used to, but looks like they are splicing it out so more people can have it.

 

Definitely something to be said for that, although I sort of prefer an all-or-nothing scenario of scoring an actual 4-pack (which I used to be able to do) instead of going way out of my way for 1 measly bottle (sold at an increased price).

 

well those days are gone... as are the times you couldn't even give Cantillon away....

 

Had some friends help me out and I was able to get 3 bottles today.

 

On one hand getting a 4 pack would allow people to share with their friends who are also looking to get a bottle or two, on the other hand, some people might not share with anyone...so it is what it is.
