KBS in Long Island

I called Bellmore Beverage and Garden City Park Beverage Barn.
They both said Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

 

I am assuming this is Tuesday the 20th?

It will be here wednesday in suffolk according to several stores. Thanks to a certain distributor releasing their products early, we get all of founders releases late. *shakes fist*

 

Damn Shoreline! Totally screwed all of Long Island for that!

 

I love shoreline. They are one of the reasons this jerk for Jersey got some King Henry.

Anyway, we in Jersey usually get our Founders the same week as Long Island. I figure it gives some people a second chance if the strike out in NYC or PA.

Only 2 per at GC Bev Barn? On beer menus it is listed it as sold in 4pks... im going to head there after work, hopefully they have some left.

Do you know if they got 2 cases or just 1?

Great thanks, hopefully I will be able to snag 2 bottles around 7 when i get home. The Bramble lasted a few days there so I think i will be OK

 

Got to Bev Barn at 7:10, but they already sold out of both cases earlier in the day...

yeah, i made a bunch of stops out east and i either wasn't on the list or they didn't get any or enough. a few stops and i lucked out with 2 bottles at superstar huntington. while i was there (all of 10 minutes after work), i saw at least 5 other people pick up bottles, so i imagine they got wiped out today. hoping to find another 2 or more as it was really tasty tonight




shocking how this has been harder to get than BCBCS, CBH, KH, etc. I guess KBS has a reputation that brings people out. I really didn't expect this, but then again, I didn't really work as hard as I have for other releases. I was surprised to see that almost every store had a list that far exceeded what they got. I think I'm reaching a new level of BA maturity in that I'm not devastated that I only got 2 bottles...although I'll see what I can do tomorrow (not that I have time to run around to beer stores).

 

Have to say that it was super nice to see that not one of the 5 shops I hit yesterday were gouging on prices. Every place charged 5.99 - 6.99 per bottle

 

This was harder than bourbon coffee? The bottle I got was tough to track down. Sorry, Long Islanders. I came up to snag a bottle, but it was work.
