KBS in MA

Intel out West seems to be that Craft doesn't deliver until Wed, so most places aren't anticipating it today.

Whole Foods on River Street is getting it today per their twitter

 

Wondered how long before this thread popped up...hear places in NY already have it at 9.99/btl and some stores getting as little as 2 4pks....not to stoke the fire or anything...lol.

 

according to FB Rapid Liquors posted they had some and were taking reservations for a 4pk via their page. I'd assume it's probably gone. I also saw Craft Beer Cellar in Westford post that they got it today (1 bottle per)

Anyone know of MA bars that might be pouring KBS today?

 

Possibly The Salty Pig. They tweeted that they would be tapping it after Notch Pilsner.

Just ran out the door and grabbed 2 bottles over at Georgios in billerica...along with a Sucaba

 

Had my KBS fun last year. Unless I stumble across it, methinks I'll be sitting this one out

 

Just grabbed 2 at $5 a bottle. I want to see how it stacks up against BA Framinghammer (one of my favorites).

Had it last year at the Yardhouse Fenway

 

Salty Pig released it for brunch. If they get a keg I'm guessing they do it again.

 

Stopped by just a bit ago on way back from class, and they said it'll go out at 3:30 for those interested. Guy sounded kind of annoyed that it was put on Twitter. Told me they got a case. 1 bottle per.

I decided to leave. Started to see people aimlessly milling around the beer section, pretending to look at stuff. An older woman at cheese counter who heard me ask about it then decided she'd wait around for it, despite having no clue what it was. Just so turned off by it all.

 

One Stop in Haverhill (next to Grill Next Door) told me on the phone they'd have it tomorrow (Tuesday). I happened to drive by about an hour ago, so I asked again. The clerk, mildly annoyed, told me Wednesday or Friday.

So who knows. Don't know how I really feel about popping in every day this week to maybe get a beer.

Anyone have more clarity on the Merrimack Valley?
