KBS In MA

Supply at Fort Point Market kicked in about 40 minutes, according to the guy there. They were selling single bottles for $8.99, I think (I walked in as the last one was being purchased...).

Had better luck at Kappy's. I was able to grab a four pack for $22.99, IIRC. Great price too.

 

Georgio's in Billerica is selling singles.

 

Next to Bourbon County, this is the single most-requested limited release beer for beer stores in MA. Supply is slightly higher than it's been in previous years, but if you're not Kappy's, the sheer number of phone calls/questions dictates 1-per.

 

Had no problem getting a 4 pack last night. Were a few more on the shelf plus singles at Macys in West Roxbury. 23.99 for the 4 pack or I think 7.99 per bottle for singles (probably 12 or more left when I was there). Was tempted to be a jerk and buy all the 4 packs since there was no limit but they are probably still there if anyone is still looking.

 

Yep, I picked up two bottles from two separate shops and called it a day. More for everyone else. I'll try to have some on tap this weekend.

 

Publick House has a keg, estimated tapping sometime on Saturday.

Brookline liquor mart had it behind the counter. Limit 2 per at $7.50 a pop.

Allston Blanchards had just got it in but claimed they had a waiting list and there would be no leftovers. First time I've ever heard of them doing something like that. Pretty strange.

 

Reservoir Wine and Spirits at Cleveland Circle has 4-packs. 1 pp, $27.99

 

Its been all over Western Mass. Feel like it was easier to find than prior years. Don't get me wrong you still had to go find it, but in some places the Stonecutters handshake wasn't required.

 

it seems significantly easier to obtain KBS this year than years past in the Boston area.

 

Don't let the KBS in CT thread hear you...they might have have a different opinion on the issue based on the posts there

 

Selling 4 packs from $25-$30 depending where you went. Some places are doing the 2 bottle thing or raffles or whatever. I will see how long they last. I was able to get myself some so now its just curiosity to see how long its around.
