KBS in MA

Surprised they aren't making you buy some Founders turds for the privilege

 

downtown liquor in Davis Square had some this evening $9.99 per bottle and $30 for 750ml i think they were selling 4packs too, but didnt ask.

 

City beverage in Seabrook NH ( I know it's not MA ) had 4 year verticles. '14-17 for 29.99. I scored a vertical 4pk. Also had 2 cases left at about 1:30pm. Looking for a couple more '17 bottles. Limit was a vertical pack or (2) bottles of 2017.

 

$30 for the 750ml....? What are these stores thinking? Rip off gouge.

That makes the store in CT. selling $32 4pks. seem like real nice guys.

 

So just nobody show up in the morning and come later in the afternoon so you'll be able to buy a 4 pack

 

That place is the worst...

 

Ugh. If you're desperate, Olde Bedford Package Store has KBS for either $10 or $14 a bottle, depending on which labels were right ($10 price tags on the ones by the registers, $14 on the singles shelf in the beer section). Don't think there's any limits.

Lincoln Liquors, also in Bedford, was selling it for $8/bottle. No bombers at either place.

Is it really worth pissing off customers to make a few extra bucks per bottle for a limited release?

Ball Square had it for $26/4 pack and Liquor World had them for $6.50 per 12 oz. bottle (I forget each store's bomber prices). Those are both within a half mile walk from Davis...I'm sure some customers will notice.

Unless I'm missing something and Downtown had to pay more for their KBS, that's blatant price gouging.

 

And Atlas literally 1 mile away had (maybe still has?) them for $24.99 and $20...that's really egregious on Downtown's part.

 

Downtown Liquor is the most over priced store. I'm about a 3 minute walk away, but always choose to get in my car and drive in the traffic to either Ball Square or Pemberton. Think they had SOS for $24 last I checked, unreal markups.

Hoping KBS goes on tap somewhere in Davis soon.

 

As of noon today Total Wine Everett had 2+ cases of 4pks and 4 cases of bombers on display

$22.99 and $19.99

 

Liquor World in Medway had 4 4 Packs of KBS for $23.99 each.

 

Well it's not Davis, but Stoddards pub has it on tap today

 

Price Chopper in Webster has a good amount for $22/4 pack. No limit.

 

Shit is everywhere in VT. Even at hannafords supermarket at 19.99 a four pack.

 

That's nuts.

A tip for those still looking in the Somerville area, Contan Liquors next to Stop and Shop has it. 1 bottle pp (12 oz.) at $5.99.

 

They were selling it in 4pks yesterday, I grabbed the last 4pk they had out...guess they allocated some more for singles. Pemberton still had 3-4 cases as of 1pm today.

 

yea i like Liquor World (which i was in today and they had them for $6.50) but was in Davis and stopped in. I will not be giving them my business anymore.

 

Anywhere in eastern MA? Have nothing so far
