KBS in MA

Nope, sadly not all of us have time to drive to 3-5 stores to hoard fresh KBS.

Will be happy with 1 or 2 bottles. Otherwise BCBS, Parabola and KBS vintages will ease the pain

 

I made 2 phone calls. I've spend more time reading this thread than I did trying to get bottles.

I didnt drive anywhere. Got home and walked across the street to Brookline liquor mart and got lucky that they hadnt run out. 2 is plenty for me. Now we can all focus on DOOM at the end of the month

 

I also saw a post on Facebook that my local store had it, literally just got up and left work to go to the store only to realize that the same Facebook post said they had already ran out... The hunt is serious business!

I just called them and they said they aren't expecting any for another week....

 

Came and went today.

 

The amount of misinformation I've seen regarding this release is insane. I suspect some blame falls on the retailers and some on the distributors, but it's wild. Stores that "weren't getting any" apparently got some and immediately sold it, stores that "had some coming in" never got any...it's nuts.

I'm very friendly with a store owner who was supposed to hold a bottle for me when it came in, but they never got any yesterday when it was supposed to come in. He didn't know what happened and was looking into it. I'm hoping they get it in next week, but I'm not holding my breath. With all the other stores in the state clamoring for KBS I doubt that there's just a lone case sitting in a warehouse earmarked for his store. I hope there is, but who knows

 

KBS does not warrant the effort that people are putting in to land this shelf turd. A $6 bottle of BA Framinghammer will do the trick for me. Not split up four packs with crazy per bottle prices.

Also FWIW, River Street Whole Foods has cases upon cases of Sucks bottled March 6...not a bad consolation prize

Pemberton Farms (Cambridge) is out.
Social Wines (Southie) is out.
Kappy's (Medford) has theirs, but they're not selling it yet. Beer manager is not in today.

 

Just saw on Facebook that Lord Hobo has Framinghammer on tap.

 

Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont will be releasing 1 case to general public on Saturday at 10 am. First come, first serve.
