Was able to track down a bottle(about 2 mins from my place).

I don't know but . . . this year's batch tastes "off".
I'm getting distinct notes of: anger, entitlement and disappointment.

Anybody else getting that? Different barrels this year??

 

Marty's in Newton still has it. They are always my last option for a reason though... $9.99 for one bottle.

Seems like most folks have come to terms with not getting much, a lot have never had it so they don't know how normal it is, and the rest are drinking BA Framinghammer.

 

Any see any BA Farminghammer in southern MA? I tried Yankee Spirits and Gasbarros in North Attleboro and neither had it.

 

I mean i love the beer. but i hate how crazy it has become to obtain some, or even one. I'm not going to lie i got a single bottle, but only because my local bottle shop beer guy holds things for me without even asking. And he doesn't up the charge per bottle.

I guess it's not even a turd since it doesn't get to the shelf. It's a behind the front desk turd then.

Got a call today from Blanchard's, they're holding 1 bottle for me at $7.32. Hmmm, probably going to pass...

Got a second call from a closer place, they're holding 2 bottles for me (price was not mentioned). I go and pick them up. Surprise! They were $7 each, goddamit Also picked up a 4-pack of BCBS for $22

Those 2 will join the 6 I got from tectactoe for 2x BCBCS, making KBS as pricey as BCBS (if not more)

I guess I didn't miss much being in RI for work this week, picked up 16 bottles with no effort other than driving to a couple of stores the last 2 days. Anywhere from $18.99 - $21 a 4 pack.

Saw BCBS when I stopped by Pemberton Farms today, as well as one last bottle of Lolita. Tempting, but I passed after seeing the $16 price tag for a bomber...

 

BCBS is honestly just sitting at at least 2 stores near me in Dedham and has been for seemingly a while now.

 

Does anyone actually know how much KBS made it into MA vs. other, particularly NE states? The Boston/Cambridge scene was an absolute shitstorm where you'd be lucky to get a bottle or two and I know no store got more than a case (although Julio's and Craft Beer Cellar apparently got 2?). I ask because while scrolling thru other forum posts I'm seeing quite a few people posting about the large quantities (12+ bottles) they've acquired. I understand Midwest people being able to buy a good amount (although I still think its bullshit if they can easily buy a case while we're fighting tooth and nail for a bottle), but I don't understand people in other NE states being able to easily buy multiple 4 packs or even a case. Even if I had a teleporter and the week off I don't think I'd be able to buy 12 bottles of this stuff
