That seems kinda dumb. So RI got as much as MA but MA has over 6x the population?

My friend that I was with at the Founders Breakfast said the same thing...if stores are rewarded by how much KBS they sell, then States should also be rewarded by how much KBS they sell.

Just trying to give people accurate information, not stepping on your toes.

Not just that, but they should at least attempt to distribute it proportionately. Why send the same amount to a state of 1 million that you send to a state of 6.5 million? I guess it's easier to send the same amount...it just kinda dumb

I know, just kidding. Main point is that every state got the same distro, not sure if I agree with that policy. Of course if I was from a smaller state, I wouldn't mind one bit.

    Too busy having fun.

Is KBS gone till next year. Or will it pop up unexpectedly? I just scored a BA Bigfoot Friday while looking for BCBS.

Not bragging just a reference to thinking a beer has been completely bought up. Then finding it with no.effort. I bet it tastes better since I did not put any effort into getring it. But then again I am letting it sit for ar least a year

Of the 3 I managed to track down 2 came from Nikki's in RI. I live on MA/RI border so I was ok with RI getting a good allotment.

Why is that? Just because you don't like it? The guy is happy he found a hard to find beer with a 93/4.17 rating.
    Enjoy your find MVP.

heh, sorry for shitting on MVP's find. was just quite underwhelmed, esp considering it was arguably harder to get in MA than KBS was...

And I'm sure RI people were thrilled. It just doesn't make sense to not distribute them proportionately. Next year are they gonna send the same amount to TX that they send to RI?

Gasbarro's in Seekonk, MA has plenty of Hoponius Unions. That will make me feel better about not finding KBS anywhere.

I will enjoy my BA Bigfoot next year.

On top of small distro and small amounts, one thing I think hurts getting limited beers are hoarders. Some person bought the whole KBS case at Wegmans in Northboro. Thanks DB! One thing I've learned in my short career as a BA, is share the wealth. Also saw some other pic in hauls thread of someone with 40 f-ing bottles of KBS, come on, really! Whenever I see rare bottles in multiples in stores I leave some for the others. Case an point, bought my BA BF Friday there were 4 bottles, bought 1 and left 3 for others. Also brought my 2012 BCBCS over a friends house that night so they could try. Guess I am a nice guys and yes I need a metal!

Well, Wines & More, Mansfield, Facebooked KBS available, limited supply, no holds, right around 9:00 am. I arrive at 12 noon to find the empty spot, apparently only 8 bottles actually made it to the shelf. Settled for some Old Curmudgeon instead........oh well, next year maybe!

Supposedly the various Yard House bars are going to be tapping it soon.

Hopefully they don't serve it ice cold. My one complaint about Yardhouse. Not really a complaint since I can just wait 5 min for it to warm. Also betting they only do 6oz servings. Might make it last longer. But not surprised they could be getting it. They always have dirty bastard on tap and I had backwoods bastard there too!
