got out of work, called Blanchards in JP at 5:15. Dude on phone says they have it. I drive over, 5:30 ask a guy inside, brings me to the manager, manager asks who i am, i tell him i called 10 min earlier, he hands me a 4 pack. i almost fainted.

 

Had them back-to-back tonight. The Framinghammer was very good, but let's slow down.

 

I'm assuming the person on the phone told you that because there are more names on the list than bottles we will be receiving, unfortunately.

 

There's the Shipyard double scotch at Downtown in Davis. Saw it today after the guy on the phone told me they had some KBS in. Turns out (as I suspected) that they only had FBS. They'll have some in tomorrow or Thursday, but it's probably going to be a one bottle limit, just a heads up.

 

Do they not know which day they get distribution?

Have you interacted with employees from that store before? They are high 24/7.

 

I lucked into the same story, but for me it was a call last night and the manager said he expected it this morning at 9 am. I called on the nose and picked a 4 pack up about 2 hours later. The manager (Mike) said they got one case. I'm a little surprised it made it all day.

That's a nice store that gets overlooked sometimes. They also had a few cases of Flower Power, Lunch, Sucks, and a lot of Nugget Nectar plus a few other things.

 

They don't know which day. I would say just keep calling and bothering. I'm about done with the chase. I'm trying on Thursday, other than that, I'll stick to BA Framinghammer (which is currently on tap at Lord Hobo, as is Sucaba, and is fantastic).

 

Never been there before...I can buy beer alot closer to me than Davis Square so never had to venture out there, but perhaps I should check it out either tomorrow or Thursday. I'd call, but it seems like they get easily confused.

 

Yep. I'm staring at 5 bottles of Framinghammer, 4 bottles of Sucaba, and 8 bottles of BCBS at home right now. Pretty good consolation prize. Also, whatever I don't spend on KBS is more money I can spend on Parabola in a few weeks

 

Pretty convinced I'm not gunna be able to score any however I had BBA Framinghammer earlier tonite and It's very good. Never had KBS but this will definitely be a good replacement, and its only 6 bucks a 16 oz bottle so I'll definitely be picking up more later this week.

 

This is a good joke. I do hope FW showers us with Parabola for the debacle last year. I also hope it is in a few weeks and not months like it usually is with their releases.

 

Well Sucaba came in on time and I easily bought 5 bottles of it without hunting at all...I'm hoping Parabola goes the same
