Was told last week of March for Milwaukee.

Friday? I understand founders is strict on no sales until Friday April 1st.

 

Any bar tapping?

 

Not sure about soon, but it will be at most places doing a Founders event during craft beer week.

 

I called Steve's on Junction today and they said it will be first come first served, no lottery.

 

Interesting, I wonder what their sign up sheet was for?

 

I thought they were doing a lotto too, maybe no one signed up? Or maybe etchings13 called one of the other Steve's by mistake. The other ones usually split up 4 packs and do one bottle limit for limited releases.

 

I doubt no one signed up. I was going to head there to get on the list but I've yet to have luck when they do those sign up sheets. I really feel like you need to know someone at the Junction Steve's to get the really limited stuff when they do a lotto.

 

Well, Jenifer street market is selling it right now (found via twitter), limit of 3 4 packs LOL. Remember, it's the "ultra limited" crack juice. Pfffff. Save your time and go buy a Big Bad Bap whenever you feel like it. This beer has become a joke.

 

FWIW, Steve's Junction just tweeted that lotto is open until 9 tonight.

I did see that, thanks for the heads up too. I don't think I'm going to bother, more interested in the CW rye, that one is awesome!

 

Seems more plentiful this year. Many places selling 4pks.

 

Such as? Called a few places and they don't have it. Only one that did (Riley's) is holding a lottery

 

All the Woodman's got it and what seemed to me to be a big amount. Star, Trixies, Steve's, Whole Foods, Jenny's...

I'm here sitting at working getting notifications from friends on Facebook about all the places they are getting some. I'm guessing by the time I'm off it will be all sold out.

 

Woodman's West had a bunch - limit 2. Steve's Univ was also limit 2. Hyvee may have been selling 4 packs, but they're out now.

 

Not sure why but our allocation got split up. Whole foods madison will have more next Thursday. Something about the new whole foods in Wauwatosa and our allocation in the wrong warehouse.

 

Not sure who you talked to, but this is false. Lottery was open through today. Will draw names tomorrow, beer arrives sometime next week.

We're kind of moving away from lotteries minus the stuff that gets heavily truck chased because of consistent known release dates (KBS, Bourbon County, etc). So when a lotto is open for a week+, we tend to get a lot of names in advance. I wish we could get enough of those beers to sell to everyone, but it's just not going to be the case with more and more people wanting in on limited releases, and other people not being satisfied with a couple bottles or a 4 pack. Hopefully you'll have better luck this time around if you entered!
