KBS in Madison

A little bird told me Steve's on University is putting aside bottles to cellar... I hope this is not the case. Let the consumer cellar or drink the beer. Plus there's hardly enough to go around as it is!

 

Just picked up a 4pk at the Beer Cave!

 

Stopped at a couple stores today. Most said it will be distributed Tuesday morning.

 

Funny stuff! My wife pulled the opposite trick on me telling me she was not able to get any on her way home from work. She came in the house with a huge smile on her face while holding a bottle... God, I love that woman! It was at the Waukesha Discount... One bottle limit $5.99.

 

It is my understanding that with new markets being opened Wisconsin's total allocation went down this year.

 

Boy all of that sucks. I feel quite happy with the stuff I have now, yet tomorrow's Great KBS Race of Madison(TM) beckons.. the pull is strong even though I'll be working all day. Who knows, I'll probably stumble on some when I get off work, I might just be that lucky.

 

That's a tad disheartening.

 

The Great KBS Derby of Madison looks like it starts today. May the odds be ever in your favor?

Not that I don't believe you, since we've heard a ton of concerns about Founders expanding too quickly, but do you have a source for this?

 

East side stores have it. Woodmans and Hyvee have a 4 pk limit.

Scored a 4pk at Woodmans!

 

Woodman's still had 1 of 2 cases when I was there at 10.

 

Woodmans SP has a 2 bottle limit.

 

So.. is it all gone yet? lol.

 

Woodmans SP actually has a 1.5oz limit. They are opening every bottle and selling shots at $5 a pour.

 

Shots of KBS sounds awful good to me about right now. Sitting in a meeting that feels like it'll never end.
