KBS in Milwaukee

    I think it's only fair that Milwaukee gets its own KBS thread, don't you??

    Tweet came in around 1pm that Discount has it in. I just ran out there and it's single bottle limit @ $5.99 per. Didn't ask how much they had but there were a decent amount of people picking up bottles. I would say at a 1 per person limit they should last a while.

    Discount Waukesha has them too. Same limit and price. Don't know about availability as I'm not leaving work for 1 bottle.

    I assume most stores will receive it on their Beechwood deliveries this week. Discounts gets deliveries every day I believe. Rays might too.

    Do you think this will be a pretty spread out thing across multiple stores? I picked up my one from Discount, but would ideally like to get a few more. If places like Woodmans get some, that would be fantastic.

    Ray's tweeted out that they aren't releasing it now even though they have it. Woodman's in Kenosha released it today with the same price tag and limit as Discount.

    KBS is allocated by Founders based on sales. I would expect all stores that sell a decent amount of Founders beers to get KBS.

    In the past, many of the Otto's have gotten a case, Groppi's, Downer, Woodman's, Three Cellars, Discount, Ray's...all the usual suspects.

    Discount Milwaukee is sold out. Discount Waukesha received it but I don't know if they have any left. Rays will probably do another "super Saturday" lottery. Otto's, at least on Oakland, is releasing it Friday at 9 AM according to the woman on the phone. Haven't heard about any of the other places yet

    Friday at 9am for Otto's would be a change. Every single other release they've done has been Saturday at 9am.

    The gal at Woodman's in OC said they were putting KBS out at 9AM tomorrow.

    I was able to grab 1 bottle from Discount before they ran out... and 3Floyd's Man O Awe.

    Yeah I thought that was strange too as I remember all the others (including Bourbon County) being Saturday also. But I repeated it and asked multiple times and that's what she said. Not that it means it's correct. Just what I was told.

    Friday @ 9am (store open) is what the plan is. Still havent received it yet, but will. If anything changes, I'll be sure to post it here first then to Twitta.

    I hate these week day releases. By the time I get there at 6 after work they are always gone.
